Uninstall tethered?

    hey guys, I jaibroke my ipod touch 2g like 2 months ago, obviously with the tethered version. How can I put it in its factory settings? I have tried restoring it with itunes but i get some error message and have to put the jailbroken firmware and cant seem to apply the factory firmwawre. anyone know how to do it?

    if iTunes can't do it, then try restarting it, rebooting your computer, reinstalling iTunes.
    Or you could try downloading the factory firmware from somewhere off the internet and restoring to that.

    Restore from DFU mode.

    Simply click restore in iTunes.

    Yeah, restore from DFU mode like hacked2times said.

    If you're trying to get it untethered... you don't need to even use Itunes... use redTool

    Umm, I'm pretty sure you still need iTunes.
    And he said Factory Settings, which would definitely require iTunes. Lol.
