Unhacked state, will the restore be enough?

    how can i be sure that i have restored my ipod to an unhacked state? is there any different method then jsut restroing it i can follow to unjailbreak/unhack it

    nope restore will change everything back to what is was like just after you plugged it in for the first time with no ability to trace or see what you had on beforehand.

    when you restore it installer will be gone and it would be like when you first got it

    I'd also suggest hitting the reset in Settings > General > Reset to clear out all your other settings in the media partition. Oh, and if you moved your applications or fonts with BossTool, you may want to manually remove or move those back or something...

    i was wondering because i restored it once and the carrier image stayed as i had altered it. i jailbroke it again and changed it back and then restored again.

    I really need a solid answer because im sending it in and im skeptical since carrier image stayed the same after a restore

    Does it leave icons altered after a restore? That doesnt sound good
