    I guess that's possible...... But if you're that worried about it don't put credit things on your iPod/iPhone...... I personally thing this is fake but it was posted on Engadget.....

    Unique Device IDentifier!

    UUID and UDID are synonymous, though UDID is more prevalent in the iOS community.

    I switched it to UDID, but I've always referred to it as UUID. Same difference

    UUID is Universally Unique Identifier, same thing
