I have previously jailbroken my 1st gen 16 gb iPod touch numerous times and on firmware 2.2.1. I was having problems with my album artwork so I did a complete restore. Once completed, I was running firmware 2.2.1 on iTunes 8.1. I downloaded the newest QuickPwn through the Dev Team website. I ran it as normal but at the last stage QuickPwn is waiting for my iPod to enter recovery mode. I hear the computer remove the iPod and the iPod shows the connect to iTunes screen but QuickPwn never goes to the next step of holding the home button, then the power button, etc. I tried multiple times and a few restores but no luck. Sorry this is lengthy but I wanted to be clear on my issue. Any ideas? Thanks.

Update...I have tried QuickPwn on another computer and still no luck. I also tried resetting on the iPod itself, no luck either. I tried jailbreaking on an older firmware, nothing. I'm still stuck on waiting for ipod to enter recovery mode. I've been searching around and no one seems to be having a similar problem but I was reading how osx won't allow the iPod into forced recovery mode. Is it possible that some windows update caused a similar issue. Anyone with thoughts I would love to hear them.
