Un-pwonage

    Now that the pownage tool has come out. Will it be possible to unpown your ipod. If you need to send it to apple for example?

    oh, i bet the dev team hasnt thought about that one, but i guess all you have to do is restore through iTunes... I dont know, cause i dont have a mac....yet ( im installing leopard on my pc)

    Just update it to a original iPod Firmware, and you should be "unPWNed".

    I thought the pwnage app "patched" the bootloader to allow unsigned apps to run. Can't find the early discussions anymore...they've all "vaporized"!

    original iPod firmware fixes software component...anyone know the answer?

    it does. however it only does that for the firmware that you are uploading to the device. once you upload a stock firmware again. your ipod is back to factory settings and apple will never know.
