okay please don't flame i just thought this might be a good idea. i personally hate having to restore my ipod everytime i go to the apple store for an ipod touch problem. so i don't know if this is possible but i think it would be a great app where you touch it and it takes you to the screen of an un-jailbroken ipod and everything works. and when you leave you press a hidden button or something and it brings your ipod back to normal.

Download Poof from installer. Hide all your jailbroken aplications. Go to apple store. Have them fix whatever is wrong. Go home. SSH into your iPod run this command:
    Code:
    /Applications/Poof.app/Poof
    Unhide your apps.

it's an app only for 1.1.3-4 since apple changed the way the icons are ordered, that app changes the info.plist to make them invisible and change it back once you unhide them, I don't know the source.

You can either use poof and hide all of your apps, then un-hide them via SSH whenever you get home.

Use customize to hide everything then, like poof, make them appear again.

Or you can use hidepod. Yes it costs some money to subscribe, but the only way they would figure out if apple tapped the calculator app because it replaces it. Its pretty useful If you ever want to hide apps.

Or you can just restore. The app your talking about is not needed.
