Umm... I need some help...

    I rebooted my ipod and I get a screen wit this:

    Singleuser boot -- fsck not done
    Root device is mounted read-only

    If you want to make modifications to fil
    es:

    /sbin/fsck -fy
    /sbin/mount -uw /

    If you wish to boot the system:
    exit

    #

    -------

    the thing is I dont know how to exit... what do I do? Recover?

    I'd restore it.

    your whole file system is gone thats single user mode

    lol you ssh and delete everything thats weird its not supposed to go into unix like that restore.

    Well, when I tried to restore I would get the 1604 error, so Im going through the itunes trouble shooting page. So I can ssh while the ipod is that screen?? Cause I cant get to the main menu, if i turn it on, I get that screen.... so Im trying to recover.

    Try to restore using DFU mode.
