    I was on Custom firmware but I have just restored back to official firmware. Now I am missing some of my official apps. (photos, background, some games) They were hidden when I jailbroke. But now I don't see them when I restored.

    Help?

    sync with itunes??

    restore is like formating a computer, you loose everything everytime you do it.

    Restore = format

    No, I lost my photo app, not the photos itself.

    That's weird, Im guessing it's something with your firmware, try restoring it again or re-jailbreaking.

    When you restore you have to set it up as a "new iPod." What you probably did was backup the files you had on your iPod previously, but now you don't have the jailbreak so some of the stuff is missing.

    Try Jailbreaking with a firmware from somewhere else.
