Once you pay for the iPhone 3G.... Why can't we just... Walk out? I mean, we PAY for the device. We can do with it what we wish. They SAY you need in store activation, but it's "YOUR" device. You PAYED for it.

There should be no legal way to stop you right? I mean, if they tried to, it could count as Theft couldn't it?

im sure that they wouldnt hand you the device until you set up an account and contract.
after all you do pay at the end of the transaction. so you would pick the device you want (iphone 3G) and then create a contract/plan. then you would pay and then they would give you the iphone.
