Umm Free Internet Without Router?

    I always wondered can u get free internet from yourself without a router?
    might seem stupid but
    is there like a way to connect your dsl to a latop and make wifi from there?

    If you get the ADSL modem hardware then sure you can do this, you could get a PCI card or a USB, etc.

    You want to connect your DSL line to your Laptop.

    Isn't DSL usually........ Paid?

    i think he means without paying for a router ( its the only thing that makes sense i can see)

    I may be wrong, but if I'm not mistaken the wireless card in most modern day laptops can be "reverse-used" I guess would be a good term so they actually put out a wireless signal. Once again, i might be wrong, so don't bash me if I am, I'm just thinking I read or heard something about that from somewhere.
