okay, so, i've upgraded to 3.0 on my iPod Touch.
and when I plug it into my computer. iTunes says
"iTunes could not connect to the iPod "iPod Touch" because an unknown error occurred (0xE800005D)"
    anyway around this?

There is a REASON that 3.0 is a BETA for DEVS and BETA TESTERS. You must have your UDID registered with Apple to use it. You obviously are not. That error is one of 3 that often happen involving 3.0. The others are another long 0x_______ and Error 21. Just DFU and downgrade to 2.2.1. Wait for June.
