    so you can't restore?

I think I found a way to do it. Some can only enter recovery mode but can't restore, what you have to do is this:

    1. Download ziphone and put your iPod in restore mode (manualy is the best)
    2. Use the DFU option in ziphone. It will get stuck on "loading DFU.dat". Now just repush on DFU, you will get a message it has succeeded.
    3. Restore to 1.1.4 in iTunes. It wont work but don't worry. Normally your screen gets white. Restore again. Now it should give you a black screen with the spinning circle.

If it didn't work restore again or repeat all steps.

I discovered this after 5 desperate hours and it worked twice for me!

Finally use ziphone to jailbreak it and that's it
