Has anyone seen the prices for pay as you go?
It is over £500 for the 32GB version
im pretty sure its very close to that in the US
okay..then, steal it.
you are soooo right....
In belgium the 3G is/was about 500-700 euros
Correct me if I'm wrong, but AT&T in the U.S. doesn't offer a pay as you go plan for the iPhone, do they? So you really can't compare the $299 with the 500 euros because it's with a two year agreement.
erm, thats with a 2 year contract buddy
in the UK an iphone 3Gs with a 2 year contract is only £87, in the us it is $199, so feel lucky
i payed £440 for iPhone 3g, O2 want me to pay ANOTHER £440 for iPhone 3g , 16gb.
when you calculate the cost of the phone on pay as you go at £20 a month to a contract iPhone it works out slighlty cheaper on pay as you go and I mean slightly I think it's like £810 on pay as you go and £830 on pay monthly @ £35 over 12 month period (excluding none inclusive minutes, txts and data usage)
and even then the tariff offerings are crap, for 35 a month I would expect unlimited txt but no you get 500...... ridiculous
The iphoene is available from the US on pay as you go (check the small print)
and its over $100 dollars cheaper
The prices are ridiculous. I know the iPhone is the future, but man that is to far. The only way for an ordinary person to get one is either through a massive contract or buy one of a friend whose upgrading!
