o2 have announced there UK iPhone tariffs , including a new £30 tariff.

    Monthly Charge ___ £30___ £35___ £45___ _£75
    Cost of 8GB iPhone £99___ £99 ___ Free ___ Free
    Cost of 16GB iPhone£159__£159__ £159 ___£59
    Free Minutes________ 75 ____600 ___1200 ___3000
    Texts _______________ 125___ 500 ____500 ____500
    Unlimited Data & Wi-Fi _________YES______________
    Visual Voicemail ___________________YES____________
    Reduced Roaming Rates ___________YES_____________
Minimum contract length _______18 months ________

In my opinion this is how it should look:

    Monthly Charge ___ £30___ £35___ £45___ _£75
    Cost of 8GB iPhone £49___ £29 ___ Free ___ Free
    Cost of 16GB iPhone£99___£59____£159____£59
    Free Minutes________ 400 ____600 ___1200 ___3000
    Texts _______________ 500___ 700 ____2000 ____4000
    Unlimited Data & Wi-Fi _________YES______________
    Visual Voicemail ___________________YES____________
    Reduced Roaming Rates ___________YES_____________
Minimum contract length _______12 months ________

But on a plus point, all current UK o2 iPhone owners can upgrade to the new 3G iPhone by paying the fee(for the appropriate tariff) for the new iPhone and agreeing to a new 18 month contract.
Also a PAYG 3G iPhone is scheduled to be released.

Do you think that the tariffs are reasonable (prices etc.) ?

I swear the iPhone is coming out on other networks as well, so maybe they'll have better tariffs. Who knows? Let's just wait and see.

Do you reckon (on pay as you go) that you will be charged for GPS? Because the roaming internet prices (as it stands for other phones) is pathetic (£3 per Mb!).
