UH OH. Windows won't read my touch

    So I just bought my iPod touch 32gb from my buddy, and i didnt like his music so i just thought id restore it and put mine on. My computer will not read that it is there, nor will my parents. anyone have any tips or tricks ive restarted my computer the ipod, its fully charged, help please!!!

    Mine did this also... Try restarting the ipod "turn it off then back on" also try restarting itunes.

    If that dont work then you might need to clean the device through settings.
    General>Reset>Erase All Conternt and Settings

    That will reset the owner of the ipod, and allow you to sync it to a new computer.

    ok, and how do i do that when my touch is "on" it just shows the usb going into the itunes icon

    u mean recovery/DFU mode???
    hold sleep&home for 10 secs
    let go of sleep and continue to hold home until windows recognizes it

    see im very new which buttons are those, sorry im retarded, i held both for ten and let go of the top one and held the bottom middle for like a minute and nothing

    Do you have the latest itunes? if not, download it, so it can install the drivers needed to read your iPod. If this doesn't work, try this manager. It's the only app that reads mon iPhone
