I believe the point was it being more applied to Mac OS than Windows. Works more smoothly, effortlessly on a Mac while it can be pretty close to crashing quite often on a relatively new Windows machine (speaking of experience here).
also I don't think it could run it smoothly, I mean my of has 3 ghz and 2gb ram be still the visualiser is jerky
Remember though - smaller screen = less resources required for visualiser. Plus, you probably have 20+ processes running simultaniously on your computer as well.. iPhone OS doesn't allow many background processes.
