I have tried like 10910238349 different tutorials and I still have not gotten Customize to work.
I have downloaded every patch possible and did everything on this tutorial
    http://www.ifans.com/forums/showthread.php?t=47278
But the 'custom' version of Customize never showed up in the installer (the patch did though).
Please don't say I didnt search, I did very well.

I just want a little help

Maybe someone can send me the files for that version of Customize the tutorial called for?

Oh Btw the problem is that It is not changing any of my pictures.... It loads up just fine

Suggest you PM skylar. He's the genius behind the customize custom version if I remember correctly.

Download and install Skylars custom customize found in this repo: ipodtouched.net/repo.xml

Open a terminal window (SSH) and type

    ln -s /private/var/root/Library/Customize /private/var/mobile/Library/Customize

Install a customize theme. Then Make sure a Customize folder is created in /private/var/root/Library

Then in a terminal window type

    /bin/chmod +s /Applications/Customize.app/Customize

    That's it. No patch's needed.

You can make it work by simply making a folder called Customize in the /private/var/root/Library/

if you add the source http://iappcat.com/r/4515 there is the custom version in there and it works(its in another language in the installer but its regular once you install it).

Installing a customize theme does this automatically.

I couldn't get the "modded" customize to work either, but Danimators customized Customize work fine. Check out his thread. There's a quick command line to run on the terminal and your good to go.
