Installed Ubuntu on my new macbook yesterday and I got everything running great. Got all the sensors working, the keyboard works right now, but I'm having a problem with the trackpad. I can get the multi-touch and right clicking to work.

    I followed this

But I get an error when I install bcm5974-dkms. Cant remember the exact error, will post when I get home and try again.

Just wounder if anyone else had this problem and if anyone has a fix?

Did you install through Boot Camp or a different virtualization program?

I get an error about usbhid-dkms. Says its not configured yet? bcm5974-dkms depends on it (what I'm trying to install).

Then it says, Cannot locate /user/src/hid-0.11.1.dkms.tar.gz

At /user/src/ it looks like usbhid-0.11.2 is already installed. maybe thats the problem? It needs 0.11.1?

Because Ubuntu is a good Linux distro for beginners and has nice multi media, besides other things. And just try Exaile, and you'll forget all about iTunes.
Try posting what is in the config file, maybe wibble or Cyanide can help you more.
Nope, that only works with iTunes. You can always dual boot?

You can run iTunes under Wine.
