*******s are NOT illegal. Some are, but *******s have perfectly legitimate uses.

Sorry, I can't answer your second question as I have not used Ubuntu extensively.

Hellrider is correct, *******s aren't illegal. It depends on what you are downloading. Software, movies, music and the such for which you haven't paid for but should is obviously illegal. Using bit******* to download Ubuntu distros is not illegal. Bit******* is just a method to downloading that distributes bandwidth.

I've heard about issues with hibernation so you may need to spend some time on the Ubuntu forums.

    1. To be honest with you, I laughed really hard at that. I won't waste time answering that.

    2. The odds of you having a laptop that works correctly with hibernation out of the box are slim.

Yep that idea of *******s being illegal is classic. As for hibernation, are you using Wubi by any chance?

it's because the iPod uses camera recognizion to import Pics.
and about the hibernate problem, if you install UbUntu inside Winfail you get that problem, and also some slow in performance

It will not hibernate because your computer is not *OLD* enough to hibernate, just use 'sleep' (I believe they have that, not sure, haven't used Ubuntu in ages). It's an ACPI problem that can't be fixed

    1. Please don't act stupid
    2. Ubuntu has problems with that. Most new laptops do it automatically when you close the lid.
