My opinion is that it works well as long as your computer is fully supported. Mine wasn't, and no matter how pretty Unity was on UNR, it was slow as hell.

Still, who knows. My biggest problem with linux is the lack of hardware support (though I blame hardware manufacturers there).

I hope they still offer a GNOME version "Gubuntu" lol.

    Aha...
I saw the word "multitouch" in there...

Also, you can run Unity on iPod and iPhone.

See where I am going with this?

Ugh, I dislike Unity. I would much rather have GnomeShell.

Looks like development will be long for it though...

Whatever, still going to just install Gnome.

I wonder how it's going to work on my desktop. Ubuntu runs pretty decent, but not so good on my desktop so I don't think it's going to run that good. I'm still upgrading though. The compiz animations run perfectly on the desktop.

Oh, I just hope this one supports my mum's laptop's WiFi card. When that day comes, I'll be a happy man.

I'm pretty sure they will offer a package to change it to GNOME just like UNR has a version to change Unity back to the regular old UNR.

    I thought unity was a 3d gamemaker...
