U.S. iPod Touch & U.K. iPod Touch any difference?

    Hello,
    I maybe visiting the united states soon and may buy an ipod touch but do you know if there is any difference between a U.S. & U.K. iPod touch??

    The only difference would be the higher price we pay for the iTouch here in the UK i think.

    Capped Sound

    The only other difference between UK and US Touches is that the max sound limit is capped to about 82% on UK (European) Touches. No restrictions on the US ones, so this and the cheaper price makes buying one in the US a win win situation.

    You can remove the capped restriction btw by logging into your Touch from your computer and changing a file called RegionalVolumeLimits.plist.
    Annoying to have to do it but it's a European health and safety restriction apparently imposed by French law (not confirmed).

    iTunes - No difference

    There is no difference in iTunes as far as I know.
    I believe the only thing is that it may connect to the US iTunes store by default, so you would see most popular songs in the US!
    But.... you can easily change this...
    Simply click on iTunes Store in iTunes and scroll right to the bottom of the page.
    There you will see a "My Store" option where you can change the default store you want to connect to via iTunes.
