    That does make sense.

    I wouldn't like that if i was still in the market for a iPod Touch. The flagship iPod being 7" destroys the whole "x songs, and it fits in my pocket."

    That, and it would be crazy to pack two major hardware announcements, an major update to iOS, and various models of iPods all in to one event. WWDC was nearly two hours and thirty minutes, and all they covered was OS X, iOS 6, and the retina MacBook.

    I may buy myself a birthday present. That way I know what it is :p Idk...I really hope the new ipod touch is a beast compared to the current model. If not, I'm buying an unlocked iPhone 4/4s...

    I could see this as one of the reasons.

    The second reason would be stock wise. Before and after each Apple Event stock rises like crazy. Now think how high it would become if they have 2 events. This may not be true, but I could see it being a reason.
