I fully understand why Tweetbot is $20, and I have no doubt that it is just as good as the iPhone app I currently use, but I cannot justify spending $20 for a Twitter client.

$20 for a Twitter app? I guess I'll wait for a sale, in the mean time Twitteriffic for $5 isn't bad at all.

The Twitter website isn't that bad either. And that's free.

The Tapbot platform is just too good and too popular. If they priced it too low, they would run out of licenses to quickly. :/

If you read the article you would see that there will most likely not be a sale because it's in limited supplies.

20$?! More like 99c, if that. And I'm an app developer, so don't go telling me that you need to charge that much to turn a profit. This guy's an asshole, charging 20$ for such a product. Maybe a high-end game. Maybe.
