I just meant did you do it manually, or use a utility like Customize, or what. I assume you meant that you used your own pack with Customize. Someone else had this problem along with a few other cases with similar symptoms. I'll let you know when I have a good solution.
What other programs you using that may affect the dock? Like SummerBoard, Caterpillar, Kate, Dock, etc? I use the dock that comes included with any given Summerboard theme, so that can be the problem, as any theme you have for summerboard, that has a "Dock.png" image in it's folder will override any other one that other programs use.
i use summerboard and the others i dont use at all, but before i could use my icon set and pick whatever dock i wanted and i used summerboard so I dont understand why it wont work now.
It sounds like a conflict between Summerboard and Customize. I'm not sure why it worked before, but that's what I was getting at before with the questions. It could be that your current Summerboard theme's dock's permissions are superceding Customize's. Try playing around with the two and get back to us with some results.
Okay i will give it a go tomorrow as its getting a bit late her lol, but what sort of thing should i do this is what i have already tried. Summerboard= turned off dock, turned dock on, changed themes (my themes work). Customize = tried different docks, tried different themes (they work). Not sure what eles to try.
Try setting the Summerboard theme back to Original so it's not in use and then Customize the dock. If that doesn't work try uninstalling Summerboard altogether and then attempting to Customize the dock again.
Cant download Customize I touch the pacakge , but it doestn download, no error, it just stays on a itty bit of white that it has downloaded , been 10 min and it doesnt move .... i got it to work before, but i had to restore my iphone becuase of categories twice! but now it doesnt download
Make sure you have a steady connection to the network and are using a fast Internet connection. Its a big file. If you are using EDGE it certainly will take a while.
