Thankyou for the excellent tutorial. I have a vital bit of information though.

Whilst booting the computer, I tried accessing the Advanced Boot Options by tapping F8 while it started up. Unfortunately, perhaps because of my motherboard, I would brought to the Boot Options screen, which allowed me to boot from any of my inserted devices (USB, any of my 3 HDDs, etc).

I was unable to access the Advanced Boot Options from this menu, and so when I booted into Vista all of my devices were disabled (including keyboard and mouse, as all devices I have run off USB).

After being frustrated for 10 mins or so I thought about it and realised that the menu must exist on another F key. I reset the computer and mashed the keys F1 through to F7 (this means I repeatedly pressed F1, F2, F3 ... through to F7 at the same time). I came to a screen which asked which operating system I would like to boot (I only have Vista installed, so there was only one option) and it said on the page to press F8 at this time to access the Advanced Boot Options.

Once I pressed F8 at this screen, I was able to select Disable Driver Signature Enforcement. I thought I'd take the time to write this as if anyone else has the problem they can find the solution here.

For the record my motherboard is an Asus P5E Deluxe.

Hope this helps someone (and please add it to your main post perhaps? Since it's on page 6 or so hehe)!

    HI.
    Sorry for bad English.
All ok for me, but only 1 problem.
Step 10 don't work!! I have 2 S.O. at startup (XP and Vista) when i install Readyboot at pc's startup there is a new voice (3) if i choose it it's ask me to insert windows CD because there's an error...:( so i must choose always voice 2 (Vista) and press F8.
    HELP????

I got up to the 'add hardware' bit. i searched control panel for add hardware, opened it, and only got thesem options:

O Search for and install the hardware automatically (Recommended)
o Install the hardware that i manualy select from a list (Advanced)

I go through the second option but can't find anything, what do i do?

EDIT: Oh lol, disregard this. i hadn't read step 5. properly.

Thanks for the excellent tut, i was worried i'd have to install xp (though it's better than vista, i don't have the time.)

Uninstall readyboot and reinstall again but during setup change the Keystrokes to 2 or 3.

    Glad it worked :)

What step is that? I would uninstall LIBUSB and start over, make sure you installed the first drivers right and ran LIBUSB-32 setup in compatibility mode.

I think that i have installed it with the compatibility rights. BUT if i haven´t .. shall i just install it over the allready installed drivers or uninstall everything.. and do everything from the beginning. I mean. It works. Would it work if i hadn´t installed it correctly ? I hope somebody will find a way!

You should be able to uninstall in safe mode and restart in normal mode.
