VNsea can be used in many ways including checking IMs while your away from your computer, use as a somewhat-unreliable-but-it-works drawing pad for photoshop, or just to check up and see whos using your computer while your gone. First the setup.

I know none of the images show. im limited to 4, i have 20. do the math and you have a problem. if your stuck just goto the link.

    VNsea and server Setup

    1) Download the free version of vnc viewer free Here(you dont need to enter any information just hit proceed to downloads)

Make sure you get one with the server.

    2) Click the icon and install

    And Finally finish the installation

    4) Now before you do anything else, If you are just going to use this at home, you can skip this. If not you will need to forward port 5920 on the computer the server is on. see PortFarward

    5) Hit apply and the server should be started. If using on the same network goto step 6. Goto step 7 otherwise.

    6)Goto VNsea on your iTouch

Click the + in the top right corner

Enter a name for you connection, the IP of the server. (to find this ip you will need to goto a site like Ipchicken to see it), and the password you entered earlier. BE SURE TO INCLUDE THE :5920 ON THE END OF THE IP!!!

Hit save and you should be set, goto Step 8.

    8) tap the connection you made

I love VNSEa and Touchpad. Very cool apps.

I can almost promise that many peope will have probems. The key is patience. For some odd reason, the app wil not work for the first few minutes to hours. I tried configuring everything, and it still wouldn't work. So I went to bed, nothing had been done to the computer or connection, but when I used my iPod again, it worked.

So if it doesn't work, just wait it out, and it should work. But in some cases, something may have to be done other than just waiting.

VNsea is i think one of the coolest apps to come out yet. before i was using RDM+, but it was beta, glitchy, slow, and worst of all...a webapp. one thing i cant seem to fix... on my ipod when i connect with VNsea there are always parts of the screen that are multicolored and blotchy. i tried turning down my screen resolution, but it didnt help. i have a big moniter, (21 inch). could this be the problem? Thanks

Some problems have to do with internet connections. For some reason, I went over to my friend's house with my laptop, and it worked. Now I'm back home and the apps don't work at all. So I think some of it has to do with your router.

    What is your resolution, Lucas?

It's called VNsea - It's in the Conceited Software source - one of the Community Sources.

Port forwarding should be able to be done through your router software. Nothing else should be required.
