TUTORIAL: Quick 1.1.4 Jailbreak without losing apps (ZiPhone users only)

I DO NOT RECCOMEND THIS IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A TOUCH JAILBROKEN WITH 1.1.3 BY USING ZIPHONE

    1. Backup up all your apps

    2. Move applications using BossTool if you havent already

    3. UPGRADE NOT RESTORE to 1.1.4

    4. Use ZiPhone Jailbreak Method (Does Not Matter Whcih Version)

    5. Once Jailbroken install BSD and OpenSSH

    6. SSH into your iPod and enter the following codes:
    "cd /" then "ln -s /private/var/Applications Applications"

    7. Go into System/Library/Coreservices and find the SystemVersion.plist

    8. Save this file to your desktop and open it with wordpad, notepad, etc...

    9. Change where it says 1.1.4 to 1.1.3 and overwrite the old file on your iPod

    10. Restart iPod (most apps should be back) and go to installer to download Summerboard 3.1-1 Skylar's Customize Mod (found at touchrepo.com/repo.xml) and any other 1.1.3 fixes you installed before

10B. If apps have not reinstalled delete the applications directory in private/var/root move apps with bosstool(or i reccomend doing it manually cause ive heard bosstools doesnt work with 1.1.4) then restore ur backup file (dont forget to set permissions)

    11. Next install the 1.1.3 iPhone Applications which ever way you'd like (search if your not sure or pm me)

12.Restart iPod and your springboard theme should return then all u got to do is use customize to edit things the way you would like

    13. Go back to where u saved systemversion.plist and open it back up and change it back to 1.1.4 then overwrite again on iPod and restart one last time

    14. Enjoy your Jailbroken touch with 99% of your files still on it including ROM's, Music/Vid, iPhysics levels, Summerboard and Customize Themes, and TTR tabs

Please post, pm, or im any questions or comments. Also, post to let me know how it went.
