    iPad HD Patches for Facebook, Opera, and Many More

    SCROLL DOWN FOR DOWNLOADS

    Here's a tutorial on how to get MORE apps working on the iPad. You'll notice with the other guide, not all apps turn out correctly, but this can fix most applications to work at full resolution. (Most games do not work)

    I'm going to make a list and keep it updated here on this thread, and I'm going to be including links so people can download the files if they don't want to tamper with any files.

    The First Steps (Borrowed from iPodTouch1234's Guide):

    THE NEXT STEPS:

    You need to take a few more steps before you fix any extra problems. I found that in many of the applications, a file called Main.nib or MainWindow.nib are present.

    1) Go ahead and locate one of these files now in the XXXXX.app/ folder, and copy it to your desktop or open it in iFile

    2) When opened with a .plist editor, (please google for one, or use iFile on the iPad) you can find a set of dimensions that looks like this:

    Code:
    <string>{{0, 0}, {320, 460}}</string>
    		<string>{160, 230}</string>
    3) Go ahead and replace those dimensions with these dimensions

    Code:
    <string>{{0, 0}, {768, 1024}}</string>
    		<string>{384, 512}</string>
    4) Sometimes there are multiple places in the file where coordinates are present, and you'll have to try various combinations of the default dimensions and the new ones.

    4a) If you were editing the file on your desktop, copy and overwrite the old file on your device.

    5) No respring is required this time around, just open the application and test it out.

    The list and download links are below, and if you happen to stumble upon an application that works, please package together the info.plist and Main.nib or MainWindow.nib files into a zip and upload them so the rest of the community can use them.

    Also feel free to make a mirror download so I can post it here (if [PIRACY.mf] takes it down for some reason)

    The changes I made to iReddit's .nib file made it crash. Here's the listed dimenions—they're slightly different.

    {{0, 0}, {320, 480}}
    {160, 240}

    Hmm... I'll have a go at it.

    I'm posting an updated google earth, facebook, opera browser, and itunes remote with new loading splash screens

    EDIT:

    Done, iReddit HD patch posted.

    That was the plan, but it's not going to work right now. The developer is going to have to port the app over to fit.

    Okay! Thanks for trying, however! The ones I am using from you are amazing, though!
