[Tutorial] how to jailbreak using xwinpwn

    First of all here is the link for xwinpwn: http://www.[PIRACY.mf].com/?ygd2s2tx1cs

    1. first create a new folder on your desktop and extract the files to that folder

    2. then put your 2.0 ipsw in that folder

    3. after that click on xpwn.exe and under ipod 2.0 click create custom ipsw

    4. a command window will pop up, just wait until all the steps are done

    5. then under the ipod 2.0 click start pwnage and follow the on-screen instructions

    I was able to jailbreak my ipod touch this way I hope this helps.

    it doesnt work it only takes like 20 seconds for the ipsw builder thing

    where can i find the 2.0 firmware file ?

    i have it on my ipod, but i cant find it on pc ANYWHERE.

    I get an error whenever it says the "Writing Out Data." I have no clue what to do because winpwn won't work for me and now this won't. I have no clue what to do. Any ideas?

    If you're on vista did you make sure you're running the program as admin?

    Well im actually on windows xp, is that the reason? I will use my moms laptop if i HAVE to which has vista but I would rather that be my last resort. Will I need to have vista?
