    Hey Guys!

The preinstalled sounds are awful so I'm doin' a tutorial about how to get your own ringtones onto you iPhone/iPod touch

I think many people know how to do this in the OS 2.2.1 but it's not exactly the same way as it is in 3.0

    1. Make your ringtone
1.1 Go to iTunes and right-click on the song you want to have a ringtone of and chose "Create AAC version"
1.2 Go to your iTunes folder (should be in your music folder) and go to "iTunes Music" and chose your song which is in the folder named by the artist
1.3 Change the file extension which should be ".m4a" to ".m4r"

    2. Get your ringtone onto your device
2.1 Login to your device via winSCP
2.2 Navigate to the main folder and then to private/var/stash/Ringtones.We4xu3
2.3 Drag your just created ringtone in here

    Perfect

Your ringtone should be on your device now.
