I thought i can do a little tutorial to show you how I convert my videos for the Touch. I use a tool called SUPER, you can download it here or google for it. Make sure you download SUPER, Build 23. This is a freeware-audio-video-converter which handles almost every format out there. 1. After you have installed it just run SUPER. Maybe a message like that will pop up: Please Register or Log in to view images you can click it away. In my case SUPER runs great without administrator-privileges. 2. Now the main-window pops up: First of all right-click somewhere and a menu will pop up. Under "Output File Saving Management" you can set where the encoded files can be found later. Please Register or Log in to view images This windows is seperated into 3 sections. 3. The sections Main Format: Please Register or Log in to view images Right here you can set the output container and the codecs for video and audio. As a container choose "mp4" and for the video- and audio-codecs choose "MPEG-4" and "AAC". Make sure you unselect "DirectShow". Video-parameters Please Register or Log in to view images Here you set up the parameters for the video stream. I suggest to set it up as shown in the pic above. Of course you can play around with other settings but make sure the resolution is 480x320 and you encode with 30fps.
