Tutorial: How Access FileSystem via USB in 3.0

    it should be clear to all of you by now that tunnelling via usb doesn't work in 3.0...

    ssh is painfully slow and doesn't even work for me - as soon as it connects and i change the folder, it disconnects

    so, here's a tutorial on how to access your file system in 3.0.

    please note that this only works by dragging and dropping files from within total commander - you can't drag a file from your desktop to your ipod, it gives you an access denied error...

    ive taken themes that i had backed up on my comp and put them on my ipod..not all of them copied but most of them did...so. u might get some random luck

    well i'm not relying on 'random luck' for my 400mb+ backup of my ipod... that would take days...

    which is why i have provided this alternative for quick filesystem access via usb

    Itunes 8.2beta has the old ItunesMobileDevice.dll but suports 3.0 firmware

    can we change permissions of the file using this program..

    Instead of using that, use iPhoneBrowser, it's much easier and you don't have to download any plugins for it.

    i don't think so... there's a file -> attributes option which i clicked, but nothing happened...

    this is just a temporary fix until a new version of the tunnel suite comes out, though. hopefully?
