Hey Guys, Don't post much on this site but I thought I'd have a go.
Before I Start Make Sure You Have:
    >iTunes 7.7
    >iPod Touch On Any Firmware
    >a valid or expired apple promotional code
    >Windows XP - Vista Might Work

    1. Google "Orbit Downloader" and install it. This will mean that you can dramatically speed up your firmware download. Most Peoples have been taking hours whereas mine took 20 minutes

    2. Go onto Google and search "iPod1,1_2.0_5A225c_Restore.ipsw".
also search for "iPod1,1_1.1.4_4A102_Restore.ipsw". Sorry can't link the files in fear of the 'ban' hammer.
    3. When you've found the files you should get the point of downloading the files. Right-click the download link and click "Copy Link Location"
    4. Open up Orbit and click "New".
    5. Paste the link into the top bar and it should fill in the rest for you.
    6. Once both files are downloaded set the ipod into recovery mode.
    7. Hold "shift" and click "restore". Now go to c:/downloads and select the 1.1.4 ipsw file.
    8. Once restored to 1.1.4 set the ipod into restore mode again.
    9. Hold "shift" and click "restore" but this time select the 1.2.0 ipsw file
    10. It should take 10 minutes but it could take up to half an hour.
    11. Once completed you should have a fully functioning 1.2.0 iPod without paying

    12. Now open up iTunes, Click Edit Then Preferences and on the General Tab make sure the applications box is checked.
    13. Login to your itunes account and get installing.

apple removed the link so the only links are from other sites now, these do not take 3 hours to download, yesterday i downloaded it in 15 minutes. All you have said that is new is that orbit downloader...

Which is latest for iPod Touch? According to number seems to be 5A347, but according to release date 5A345. Both can be found on internet. Which one should I use?
    Thanks
