    Hi

I have now my 8Gb touch jailbroken,
Here are the steps that i followed:

1- Upgrade to 1.1.4 via iTunes

    2- Download ZiPhone 1.0 here:

    Download

    3- Open ZiPhone GUI

4- Select Jaibreak and Verbose boot

    Wait...

You now have an Jailbroken 1.1.4 iPod Touch!

That was the only method that worked with my iPod Touch

NOTE: It may work on the newer versions of iPod Touch, test it and feedback!

Do at your own risk xD

Wow, this is a VERY useless guide. EVERYONE knows about this and have tried it.

Sorry, but this was a waste of time.

I have an iPod Touch firmware 1.1.3, jailbroken. Can I update right now to 1.1.4 and then jailbreak 1.1.4 without losing my music?

zibri is working on it for other models of the touch and iphone. for the 1.1.3 error with installer, u need to edit this file..

    go into System/Library/Coreservices
    find the SystemVersion.plist
then edit it by either right-clicking to edit or dowload to desktop, change where it says 1.1.4 to 1.1.3
drop it back in or save, if u want backup download to desktop and change the previous to SystemVersion.plist.backup and drop the new in, to change delete .backup
now reboot, and u should be able to download from installer, although i am not sure about app compatiblity so be wary of this although ive heard most apps work with it

What is the point of upgrading to 1.1.4 anyway if half the apps don't work?

    What's the rush?
