If you're unfamiliar with the situation, a developer snuck Wi-Fi tethering into their iPhone application, FlashArmyKnife. It's only $1.99 and it works pretty well, just takes a bit of work to get it started, all worth it.

    Buy it here: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/flasharmyknife/id586041992?mt=8&ign-mpt=uo=4

Of course people will make tutorials for this app only for Mac because everyone seems to have one, I thought I'd go ahead and make a tutorial for Windows 7. Enjoy!

iTunes Connect is shut down for the holidays. It picks back up on Dec. 29. So I bet it stays up until then.

Also I posted this tutorial to the front page blog.

Does anyone else's IP address disappear after a few seconds on the iPhone?

Wait, if Apple pulls it, then if you have purchased it, will you lose the app? As in it won't appear in the "purchased" section? Or will it stay there?

Also, what does it do exactly? Share the iPhone's 3G/4G like Apple's traditional method or share the computer's Internet connection with the phone?
