    Hi, I had the same problem and used the steps listed above, but sadly, it didn't work :(, so what I did was copy the redsn0w.ex file directly in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support and then gave it a go, and hey, it worked!!!! hope this helps too :)

    i used the app and now my phone wont turn on? do you have any idea why? the redsnow thing still says that it couldnt load my mobile device. you gave people suggestions about windows SP or something & how does that work cause I dont have an option for that. Please help. Thanks :)

    i have ios 6 firmware installed using an iphone 4 gsm model. latest version of itunes. 10.7 and am using 0.9.13dev4 redsn0w. i navigated to the directory where dll file is and pasted it to the folder redsn0w where i downloaded it. it continues same message. and i also tried in compatibility mode. am i missing something here? i sware computers hate me. help please?
