I tried searching everywhere but it seems I am the only one with this problem when i try to restore my ipod touch 2g, I get it to go to DFU and to the white screen but when i click the restore in the itunes it gets ready and then my ipod turns off(gives me an error as well). I tried to boot it up using the jailbreak boot, it takes me to the recovery mode and when i try to restore in recovery mode it does the same thing, regular loading don't work. Need help plz or I am Screwed?

I think its the tethered jailbreak dfu mode is the problem, what i need then is someone that is cleaver enough to make a restoring part using the cmd instead of the itunes or a new way to restore my ipod. Plz help i cant restore anything because it goes black when restoring comes.

Edit- I want to try out the untethered jailbreak for the 2g but I cannot restore anything at all.
