When you're not using your iPod touch, do you most often turn it off or simply put it in sleep mode?
I sometimes turn it off in order to kill all the processes that are running, but i think it huses MUCH battery power...
Sometimes the battery is at like 40% and after reboot it says 20% left, but then after a while it says like 30-40% again, but I still use sleep.
Just putting it in sleep is SOOO much easier and it uses WAY less battery power, so I don't really understand why you would want to shut it all the way down.
During the day, when I'm listening to music or when I plan to turn it on again I sleep it. At night or when I don't plan on turning it on for a while, I'll turn it off.
Hmmm... that's kind of weird Danls92, you're method seems to be a complete waste of battery power. I can leave my iPod in "sleep" mode for about 2 whole days without it impacting my battery. However when I turn it off and on it drastically reduces the charge level...
When i go to bed and school i turn it off.
Other then that, i just leave it on sleep.
I usually turn it off between each uses.
WHY!!!???!!!??? There is no point and it just wastes battery! I don't get you, and the guy above, who turns it off for sleep and school. (which especially DOES NOT make sense because if you bring ur pod to school, the thought is that you will actually use it not keep it off the whole day)
Simple. Sleep takes 2 sec, while turning off takes like 10.
I've left my iPod on sleep mode by accident for days!!! By accident, and the battery was almost full, I think just how I left it.
