Alright, I'd like to use my iPhone just as an ipod touch. I noticed that the phone app is always running, and it takes up a good 10 mb in ram. Is there anyway I could change this so it only opens when I open it? Like a plist I could edit?

Also I edited the itunesstored launchdaemon, but memtool says it still runs even when not open? Any fix to this?

    Thanks Contagon

Maybe download SBSettings and disable 3g etc, or just use the Airplane mode?

Well I only have an iphone 2g, so there isn't any 3g to begin with.

And I tried that, but in processes in sbsettings and in memtool it says it's still running.

system/library/coreservices/m68ap.plist then change telephony true to telephony false

    I went to system/library/CoreServices, but there wasn't a m68ap.plist.
