I don't know about the rest of you, but trying to surf the 'net on the couch or in the bed, the iPod Touch "helpfully" rotates the screen so that I have a hard time reading the pages.

Does any one know of an application that turns this off in say, just Safari?

The Application "BOOKS" does not rotate the screen, and that's wonderful.

Sorry if this has already been posted, I did search on "landscape" first.

    Cheers,

    Fountainhead.

When I listen to it in class and want to change the song, it goes to CoverFlow [which is sometimes ugly cause not all my albums have cover art, but I just double click the home button so eh. Personal preferences for some people.

    Hi Jmiz,

Well, the reason is that when the screen rotates, then my hand must rotate also, to keep the screen in line with my eyes. I understand the necessity of video, photo, album image browse, etc., in landscape view, but I would like to be able to turn it on and off at will for an application.

    Use "Rotation" plug-in in SBSettings.
