Someone changed the way the threads were timestamped. Now instead of saying "5/27/2008 at 5:45 PM", it says "1 Day Ago". I don't like it.

This should be changed back because now in threads older then a day old I will not be able to tell the timing between the posts. This is useful in some cases. Change it back, it's better the other way.

EDIT: This probably should have gone in the "Forum layout/theme complaint threads" forum, my bad.

I like it this way, its easier to look at and tell how long ago it was. i also think it will reduce threads really old popping up, which isnt much of a problem now but you know.

yes and i also think that there should be an option so you can change the way th posts are in order, you can chose either in order of which one was posted on latest, or when the thread was posted

I think there should be an option in our user control panel to show either elapsed time or actual time for each thread/post. This had been annoying me too, because I can't tell when I have refreshed the new posts page, on another forum they show the exact times and it makes it a lot easier.

I completwly agree with you. i often tried to see which post had to least comments to see if anybody helped them if they asked a question, and everytime i had to go through almost every page by hand. a classification system would be nice!
