    Some of you might not know, but on each iPod box, the calendar say Tuesday the 9th, and 9:42 AM.

    What do you think it means?

    Probably one of Steve Jobs's kid's birthdays.

    It's the time that the iPhone was released in '07 at MWSF. at least, that's what I think. It ushered in a new era for the company, so that is one of the many ways that they keep that moment in time alive.

    MAYBE IT WAS A CLUE FOR THE IPHONE?
    I'm not sure though, its obviously an exact time... So something historical or maybe the day the first iPod was announced?

    only thing I can think of is that is like a universal date for events, cause when you google that you get a bunch of apple events "including the ipod touch event for this year"

    The only things, I can think of:

    1. The official timestamp with the prototype first booted,
    2. Lisas' birthday?

    (Lisa - his daughter, for who he also named a computer after... at $10,000 back then, it didn't sell very well.)
