Mind telling us what ''ways'' of restoration you have tried?

you don't have your shsh blobs saved. Just upgrade to 3.1.2 and try that

3.1.2 doesn't work anymore. And people are saying that SHSH blobs don't even work either D: I kept getting that error when i tried downgrading, but i couldn't find out what the error meant. But Apple doesn't sign for 3.1.3 anymore.. You have to go to 4.0 if you want to upgrade. I say: Stay on 3.0 jailbroken until 4.0 becomes jailbreak-able

i've heard 4.0 causes a lot of lags and such and not all cydia apps are 4.0 compatible yet. that's why i wanted 3.1.3...

SHSH shouldn't have anything to do with it as it doesn't affect firmwares older than 4.0 on first and second gen devices. You should have no problem going to the firmware that you want as long as you do DFU mode and Shift+click restore.

It could also be your firmware, are you sure you are using the right one?
