Ive followed the Insanely easy tut here:
    http://www.ifans.com/forums/showthread.php?t=84175
And the step 9 doesn't seem to work.
I start to whack my new custom 2.0 firmware on my Pod, and just when i think its nearly done, it decides to pop up with an 'Unknown error' (6)
Any ideas what this error is anyone... ?

Sorry if there are other threads about this, i haven't seen any.
    Thanks.
    Cahyle.

    Put it in DFU mode.

    NOT RESTORE MODE.

Anything under error 20 or so means that you are 100% not in DFU mode. These errors show that the iPod rejected the firmware because it is unverified.

If you are in DFU mode, the only possible errors you could get are 160x

I downloaded the latest versions of everything
I think its just getting into the DFU mode that is the problem
    Hmm..
Ive tried 7 times now, and its not looking good.
So far ive got error 6, error 9, and error 20 pop up.
But as Gitykins says, it might be the DFU thing.

    Damn iPod.
