But I can't even jailbreak 1.1.2 now. I know how, Ive done it several times, but I accidently upgraded to the non-fun 1.1.3 and I'm stuck. Everytime I complete the jailbreak.jar it completes and then puts the iPod into DFU mode and I have to start again. Any help?

I know this sounds obvious, but you are downgrading to 1.1.1, then doing 1.1.2 aren't you? And you're clicking restore instead of upgrade when you go back to 1.1.1?

This has started to happen ever since 7.6 itunes. One way to get your ipod out of Recovery mode is to download Independence:

    http://code.google.com/p/independence/

Just open the app and it should knock your machine out of recovery mode.

No, I option clicked Update. I have a Mac. I'll try independence, I'll let you know how this turns out.
