Hey there!! I am new here and new to apple products in general. I have a touch 2G. I upgraded the 2.2 firmware and my battery life has been horrible. I have tried to restore to 2.1.1 and I keep getting an error of

"The iPod "iPod" could not be restored. An unknown error occurred (20)"

Any ideas?? Anyone have any ideas of what could help out the battery life or how I can get around this error to restore to 2.1.1???

    Thanks in advance.

Use DFU Mode rather than Restore Mode.

Then I, your humble servant dear Kiks52, must ask how to get on to a later firmware? Because if you restore you'll only get back to the 2.2 firm, and I don't want to use iTunes version of that one.
