    DFU restore to original FW.
    Then try again.

It will connect with DFU. Just try to time it correctly.

    Plug it in.

Hold home & power buttons for 10 seconds.
After 10 seconds, release the power button but keep holding the home button.
Keep holding the home button until you hear a beep on your computer.

After you hear the beep, you can let go of all buttons.

    Open iTunes.
It should recognize it as a "recovery device".
Press the RESTORE button and restore it to factory default settings.
    Try a jailbreak with redsn0w

For firmware 2.2.1, use redsn0w 0.3 (NOT QUICKFREEDOM)
    For firmware 3.0, use redsn0w 0.8
