    Pre1-1-1. Try not to be on Vista.****

    Pre1-1. Use Firefox or IE7* or Chromium/Chrome** or Safari 4***
    Pre1-2. Enable Cookies.

    1. Go to http://www.google.com
    (if you are redirected to your country's Google, go to http://www.google.com/ncr or http://google-no.tk/)

    2. Type
    Code:
    javascript:void(document.cookie="PREF=ID=20b6e4c2f44943bb:
    U=4bf292d46faad806:TM=1249677602:LM=1257919388:S=odm0Ys-53ZueXfZG;path=/; domain=.google.com");
    into the address bar.

    3. Press Enter
    4. Refresh
    5. If the Google homepage looks like this:

    Please Register or Log in to view images

    it worked.

    Any thoughts?

    It's more than just the new logo and blue buttons, BTW. If you search something there's a nice little sidebar.
