Guys, I read about this app called Truphone in a local IT mag... If i can remember, this app enables phone calls over WiFi and the best thing is that it's a freebie... I may be considering getting Truphone via the App Store but at the same time, headphones with mics are not exactly very cheap here in Malaysia...

Have any1 of you in the IPTF Forums used this app before? I'd like your opinions and comments before I go ahead with the download, thanks!

It works, though there is a $.50 credit, and you use up $0.05 credit everytime you call. But you can easily work around it by re-signing up

Can you call a mobile on truphone for only 5 cents? or does it cost more? and does the call last forever?

That's what I want to find out more about... Apparently Truphone has three different call plans with each respective rate, but I don't have the full details as yet... I'll check out their website for more information...

You have to pay for every VOIP service. There is no fully free one.

    I agree. Skype is better.
