True Value of the 3G iPhone...

    it doesnt say anywhere that the no commitment phone will be released a "month" after the initial launch, i dont know where you got that time estimate from

    wouldn't it still be cheaper to get the phone at the 199/299 with contract then after 1 month cancel and just pay the 179 termination fee?

    I don't see what the fuss is all about. Correct me If I'm wrong but without a contract you can't use the 3G, which I suppose is the main feature of the new one, then it's only as good as the old iphone!

    Please correct if I don't what I'm talking about! :S

    yes but the cancelation fee is only like $200 so wouldnt that mean $400 and $500
